Our Services
Safe Removal When It's Necessary. Prevention When It's Not.
The contractor who recommends removal might not be objective. We are as likely to recommend preservation as removal — based on science, not profit motive.
When Removal Is Necessary
We Remove Trees When
It's Actually Necessary
A tree needs to come down when it's dead or nearly dead, disease is advanced beyond treatment, structure is compromised (heavy lean, major cracks, split stems), roots are undermining foundations or utilities, or it's creating genuine safety risk despite repeated care.
Important: A slight lean isn't removal-worthy. A few dead branches isn't removal-worthy. A tree that's taking up space you want for something else isn't a safety problem — that's a preference problem. We assess based on actual safety and health status.
When Preservation Is Possible
Many Trees That Get Removed
Could Be Saved
Dead branches in live trees
Crown cleaning, not removal
Early disease
Treatment protocols, increased monitoring
Poor structure
Cabling, bracing, strategic pruning
Reduced vigor
Soil amendments, pest management, root zone care
The Removal Process
When Removal Is Necessary, We Do It Right
Phase 1
Risk Reduction
- Assess structures near the tree
- Identify what needs protection
- Determine permits/utility notifications
- Plan strategic approach
Phase 2
Strategic Dismantling
- Climb and section into manageable pieces
- Lower sections with rigging (not dropping)
- Clear and protect your property throughout
- Haul debris offsite or chip for mulch
Phase 3
Site Restoration
- Stump removal or grinding (your choice)
- Wood chips or mulch for landscaping
- Site cleanup and restoration
- Property returned to clean condition
